About the Role
As Indirect Category Senior Manager, you’ll play a pivotal leadership role in shaping and delivering MVH Europe’s strategic approach to indirect spend - covering categories such as People & Organisation (P&O), IT, Marketing, Facilities, and Professional Services.
You will lead multi-year sourcing strategies that optimise cost, mitigate risk, and enable innovation across our European network of over 500 hospitals and clinics. Partnering with senior stakeholders and strategic suppliers, you’ll drive measurable commercial value and operational excellence through data-led decision-making and best-in-class governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute long-term, value-driven category strategies aligned to business transformation goals.
 - Supplier Excellence: Manage high-impact supplier relationships, driving innovation, performance, and continuous improvement.
 - Commercial Leadership: Lead complex negotiations and full contract lifecycle management across diverse indirect categories.
 - Stakeholder Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, translating business needs into actionable sourcing solutions.
 - Insight & Analytics: Use advanced procurement analytics to inform decision-making, track value delivery, and optimise performance.
 - Governance & Risk: Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contracts, and regulatory standards while building category resilience.
 
Experience required.
- 5+ years in procurement and strategic sourcing within complex, multi-category environments.
 - Proven success in commercial negotiation, contract management, and supplier performance leadership.
 - Strong strategic mindset and ability to influence senior stakeholders in a matrixed, multinational organisation.
 - Advanced data and analytical capabilities using e-sourcing platforms and procurement technologies.
 - Recognised qualification such as CIPS Level 6 (or equivalent) preferred.
