Purpose of the position
As an Area Operations Partner, you play a key role in supporting and optimizing the operational performance of the AniCura clinics in Norway. You work closely with the Area Director and practice managers to realize local initiatives, implement operational standards, and strengthen a culture of continuous improvement.
You actively contribute to an excellent experience for clients and employees, while helping to achieve the clinics' financial and operational objectives. In addition, you are part of the Area Operations Partners team. You work closely with colleagues from other regions in Europe, with the Norwegian team, and, where necessary, with the central operations team. In this collaboration, you take responsibility for analyses and projects at a national level.
Core Responsibilities
Operational Support & Continuous Improvement
First point of contact for clinics regarding operational questions.
Regular presence in the clinics for analyses, problem-solving, and hands-on support.
Implementing and monitoring operational standards.
Local rollout of central tools, processes, and improvement and change initiatives.
2. Financial & Business Support
Assisting with P&L analyses, business cases, and financial optimization.
Independently leading operational and financial improvement projects with a clear impact on practice results.
Translating data into actionable insights and actions that contribute to efficient and financially sound practice management.
3. People Management & Collaboration
Collaborating with practice managers, medical teams, and central functions to achieve shared objectives.
Strengthening client and employee engagement through local initiatives, NPS measurements, and structured feedback sessions.
Coaching clinic staff regarding performance, team dynamics, and development needs within the clinics.
Job Requirements
Experience: 3–5 years in project management, strategy, or operations consulting, or at least 2 years of multisite management (experience in healthcare/veterinary medicine is a plus).
Financially & analytically strong: You can read P&Ls, interpret KPIs, and translate data into concrete improvement actions.
Process-oriented: You have experience with process optimization and guiding operational improvement projects.
Operationally sharp: You quickly detect problems on the shop floor and address them in a structured manner.
Communicative & connecting: You communicate clearly and tactfully, work smoothly with various stakeholders, and are bilingual NL/FR (English is a plus). Mindset: Proactive, willing, hands-on, strong in prioritizing, and focused on the well-being of employees and customers.
