The team
You will join the Group Accounting and Group Financial Control team, consisting of 10 finance professionals and reporting to the Head of Group Accounting. The team is responsible for delivering high-quality financial reporting, group consolidation, governance, internal controls, statutory reporting, and audit coordination across Mars Veterinary Health Europe.
The team works closely with Shared Service Centres, country finance teams, and Mars stakeholders to ensure consistent accounting practices, strong financial controls, and continuous improvement of finance processes. As part of this collaborative and international environment, you will contribute to projects involving acquisitions, system enhancements, reporting improvements, and finance transformation initiatives.
What we're looking for
University degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or an equivalent qualification, with 5–10 years of accounting and financial reporting experience.
Strong knowledge of general accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, and consolidation within an international environment.
Experience working with Oracle and advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with OneStream, HFM, or similar consolidation systems is advantageous.
Experience supporting acquisitions, financial projects, or process improvements; project management experience is desirable.
Fluent in English with strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience in a US-based organisation, knowledge of US GAAP, and Swedish language skills are advantageous.
