Area Talent Acquisition Partner – Denmark
About Mars Veterinary Health (MVH) Europe:

Our network includes trusted brands such as AniCura and Linnaeus, operating over 500 animal hospitals and clinics across 18 European countries. Together, our teams deliver high-quality, modern veterinary care for companion animals, ensuring peace of mind for pet owners through excellent access and patient safety.

Linnaeus, operating primarily in the UK and Ireland, is home to over 6,000 Associates empowered to deliver exceptional care through a culture of collaboration, clinical excellence, and continuous development.
At MVH Europe, we prioritize a culture of accountability, inclusion, and wellbeing. We believe our purpose — to make A BETTER WORLD FOR PETS — starts with building a better world for our people. We support our teams through strong governance, comprehensive wellbeing programs, and a shared passion for delivering exceptional outcomes in veterinary care.
About the Role:
Finding and attracting veterinary talent has never been more challenging, or more important.
Across Denmark, our clinics are growing, evolving, and continuing to deliver high-quality care in a highly competitive talent market. To support this growth, we are looking for an Area Talent Acquisition Partner who will play a key role in helping clinics attract and hire exceptional veterinary professionals.
This is not a traditional recruitment role focused purely on managing vacancies. It is a relationship-driven role where success comes from understanding people, building trust with clinics, and creating long-term connections within the veterinary community.
Some days in this role start inside busy veterinary clinics, sitting with leaders to understand their hiring challenges and what good really looks like for their teams. Other days are spent outside the clinic walls—mapping the Danish talent market, reaching out to highly specialized professionals who are not actively looking, and slowly building trust through meaningful conversations rather than quick transactions.
Because the market is niche and competitive, success comes from relationships as much as recruitment. You’ll be constantly balancing hands-on clinic engagement with thoughtful, creative sourcing strategies, while deciding where your time creates the most impact—whether that’s at an industry event, strengthening a local network, or refining new ways to connect with talent. You will have a high level of ownership and flexibility in how you organize your work.
You won’t be doing this in isolation. You’ll work closely with the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager and be part of a wider European TA community, sharing ideas, learning from others facing similar challenges, and helping shape how recruitment is done in Denmark. At its core, it’s a role about building something meaningful—supporting clinics, enabling better patient care, and contributing to the long-term growth of veterinary healthcare in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Partner closely with clinic leaders and practitioner managers across Denmark to understand workforce needs, hiring priorities, and local talent gaps
Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for veterinary and other key clinical and clinic support roles
Build, manage, and continuously strengthen pipelines of veterinary and specialist talent in a highly competitive market
Proactively source and engage passive candidates, building long-term relationships within the veterinary and clinical community
Advise and support clinics with hiring strategies, market insights, and best practices to improve speed, quality, and candidate experience
Ensure a high-quality, consistent, and engaging candidate experience across all stages of the recruitment process
Represent AniCura and Linnaeus at universities, career fairs, networking events, and industry engagements to strengthen talent attraction
Support and contribute to employer branding initiatives and local recruitment campaigns in Denmark
Collaborate closely with international Talent Acquisition colleagues to share knowledge, tools, and best practices across markets
Work independently with strong ownership, structuring your own priorities across multiple clinics and stakeholders
Apply a proactive, creative, and entrepreneurial mindset to solve hiring challenges in a scarce talent market
Continuously improve sourcing strategies, tools, and approaches to attract hard-to-find veterinary talent Top of Form
Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques, applicant tracking systems, and recruitment best practices.
Proven ability to build relationships with hiring managers and external partners. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Data-driven mindset and experience using recruitment analytics.
Familiarity with employment laws and diversity hiring practices.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or related field. Preferred: Recruitment or P&O certifications (e.g., AIRS, SP&OM-CP)
Minimum of 5 years experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, preferably in a multi-site or multi-country context.Bottom of Form
