Role Overview:
As an Accountant you will support day-to-day accounting operations for clinic operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with AniCura Group standards, and effective collaboration with business partners and external advisors. The role will contribute to month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes, as well as ERP and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to daily accounting activities for clinic operations in Poland.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
Prepare, review, and post journal entries in Oracle and group reporting systems (including inventory and bad debt).
Perform sales reconciliations, VAT settlements, and balance sheet reconciliations using BlackLine.
Coordinate with external accounting service providers and verify delivered services.
Support statutory financial statements and tax reporting in collaboration with external advisors.
Ensure compliance with AniCura Group accounting standards and support implementation of new policies.
Monitor local accounting and regulatory developments with advisors and SSC leadership.
Support ERP system changes.
Contribute to ad-hoc tasks and continuous improvement initiatives.

Education & Professional Qualifications
Academic degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience
At least 3 years of accounting/finance experience in large, matrix organizations, SSCs, and/or audit firms.
Hands-on experience with GL accounting and month/year-end closings.
Experience with Oracle ERP preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
Fluent English and Polish required (Polish preferred for local communication).
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Personal Attributes
Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-energy environment with shifting priorities.
Analytical with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Hands-on, can-do approach with strong accountability.
