Role Overview
The Travel & Expense Analyst plays a critical role within the Procure to Pay (P2P) function, ensuring the efficient, timely, and compliant processing of employee travel and expense claims across AniCura. This role involves managing the daily processing of claims via the MxP platform, providing front-line support to employees, and ensuring adherence to company policies. Additionally, you will oversee the administration of company credit cards and contribute to the continuous improvement of T&E processes, helping to enhance automation, streamline workflows, and ensure a consistent, high-quality employee experience across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel & Expense Processing
- Accurately process employee expense claims via MxP within defined timelines.
- Respond to employee inquiries related to policy, platform issues, or claim status.
- Credit Card & Reconciliation
- Assist with setup and monitoring of company credit cards linked to MxP.
- Perform reconciliations and ensure compliance with T&E policies and internal controls.
- Stakeholder Support & Collaboration
- Act as first-line support to employees and liaise with Finance and HR teams across countries.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation, FAQs, and training materials for T&E processes.
- Continuous Improvement & Compliance
- Identify recurring issues and suggest process improvements or automation opportunities.
- Support internal audits related to T&E and ensure readiness of documentation.

- Location: Netherlands preferred, with flexibility for other AniCura locations across Europe.
- Contract: 6 Months
- Languages: Fluency in English required; other European languages are a plus
- Key Stakeholders: Finance Operations, HR, Employees across Europe, MxP platform support
Required Skills & Expertise
- 2+ years of experience in finance operations, shared services, or employee expense processing.
- Training or certification in travel and expense platforms or accounting processes is a plus.
- Familiarity with travel and expense systems, ideally MxP or similar platforms.
- Experience handling credit card programs and employee reimbursement processes.
- Strong understanding of finance controls, audit requirements, and compliance related to T&E.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Travel & Expense process and platform knowledge (MxP preferred).
- ERP and finance operations understanding.
- Process documentation and knowledge sharing.
