Role Overview
The Unreconciled Line Items Analyst plays a critical operational role within AniCura’s European P2P function, focused on improving the bank reconciliation process in partnership with outsourcing provider DXC. This role drives enhancements in data harmonization, system matching rules, and reconciliation flows to reduce unreconciled items and increase automation.
Reporting to the Head of P2P Europe, the analyst combines technical problem-solving with stakeholder collaboration to improve reconciliation performance. Ideal for someone detail-oriented and analytical, this role requires a hands-on approach, strong communication skills, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Support DXC in investigating and reducing unreconciled bank line items across the European business.
- Collaborate with the Master Data team to identify and resolve data-related issues impacting bank reconciliation accuracy.
- Use existing tools (e.g., Oracle, APRO, banking platforms) to improve automated matching rules and streamline reconciliation workflows.
- Identify patterns in unreconciled items and propose systemic or procedural changes to increase first-pass match rates.
- Coordinate across teams—including Finance, IT, DXC, and Master Data—to address root causes and align on action plans.
- Communicate progress regularly and clearly to stakeholders and escalate blockers or risks as needed.
- Develop a deep understanding of ERP-banking interfaces and continuously seek to optimize reconciliation logic and rule sets.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement through daily incremental changes and proactive problem-solving.

- Languages: Fluency in English (additional European languages are a plus)
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
- ERP or reconciliation platform certification is a plus.
- 3+ years’ experience in banking, reconciliation, finance operations, or ERP support.
- Strong analytical skills with a track record of identifying mismatches and exceptions in financial data.
- Knowledge of ERP-to-bank integrations and payment file structures.
- Experience with reconciliation platforms or ERP banking modules (Oracle preferred).
- Background in shared services or multinational environments is an advantage.
Technical Skills:
- Bank reconciliation processes and tools
- ERP banking module expertise (e.g., Oracle, APRO)
- Data analysis and pattern recognition (Excel, Power BI, SQL – preferred)
- Understanding of master data integration
- Automation logic and rule setting – preferred
