Role Overview
The Operations Performance Senior Manager is responsible for designing, maintaining, and continuously evolving data-driven performance tracking frameworks and practices that enable clear operational visibility across MVH Europe’s veterinary clinic network.
This role ensures that leadership and field teams have access to timely, accurate, and actionable data to drive both clinical and commercial performance consistently across the business. Acting as a key connector between technical data teams and operational leaders, the role translates strategic priorities into meaningful KPIs, dashboards, and performance insights that support effective decision-making.
Operating at Group level, the role strengthens alignment between data, business impact, and usability, enabling leaders to proactively manage performance and outcomes across regions and clinics.
Key Responsibilities
Performance Frameworks & KPIs
Lead the definition and continuous improvement of operational and clinical KPIs in alignment with strategic goals.
Ensure performance metrics reflect both clinical outcomes and commercial impact.
Metrics, Dashboards & Business Requirements
Define clear business requirements for metrics and performance tracking dashboards that support decision-making at all levels.
Serve as the central point of contact for operational dashboarding needs across Central Operations.
Data Collaboration & Quality
Collaborate closely with Data & Analytics teams to ensure data integrity, automation, and reliability of dashboard reporting tools.
Support scalable and consistent performance reporting solutions across the business.
Performance Insight & Decision Support
Support VPs, field operations teams, and clinic leaders with performance insights and data-driven recommendations.
Monitor trends, flag anomalies, and proactively communicate key operational and clinical performance issues.
Adoption, Coaching & Enablement
Provide coaching, training, and documentation to ensure effective adoption and consistent usage of dashboards across the organization.
Build data literacy and performance management capability within operational teams.
Context and Scope
This role operates at Group level, working in close collaboration with Data & Analytics, Field Operations, Finance, and Medical teams. The Operations Performance Senior Manager acts as a critical bridge between technical data teams and operational leadership, ensuring KPIs and dashboards are aligned with business impact, clinical priorities, and usability in day-to-day operations.
Education & Professional Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a numerate discipline.
Certification in BI or data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
Familiarity with systems and dashboard environments is desirable.
Knowledge / Experience
5+ years of experience in operations analytics, business intelligence, performance management, or equivalent experience using data to drive performance improvement.
Strong command of data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar.
Proven ability to translate insights into meaningful and actionable outcomes.
Experience in a multi-site healthcare or veterinary environment is highly desirable.
Comfortable working across business and technical teams in a matrixed organisation.
Proven ability to translate business strategy into detailed requirements.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, coaching, and training skills.
