As a People Partner, you'll play a key role in supporting our clinics by partnering with leaders to build engaged teams, develop talent, and create an environment where our people—and the animals they care for—can thrive.
This is a true HR Business Partner role, combining strategic thinking with hands-on support. You'll work closely with Area Managers and clinic leaders to translate business priorities into people solutions that drive performance, engagement, and growth.
Roles and Responsibilities
As the trusted People Partner for a designated group of clinics, you'll:
Partner with Area Managers and clinic leaders to understand business priorities and develop effective people strategies.
Support talent management, workforce planning, succession planning, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.
Coach and develop managers to strengthen their leadership and people management capabilities.
Advise on organizational design, change management, and business transformation initiatives.
Lead and support employee relations cases while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
Collaborate with specialist People teams to implement HR programmes, policies, and best practices.
Use workforce data and insights to identify trends, recommend improvements, and support informed decision-making.
Champion diversity, inclusion, and a positive employee experience across your region.
Experience Required
We're looking for an experienced HR professional who enjoys partnering with leaders, solving complex people challenges, and making a tangible business impact.
You'll have:
A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
At least 5 years' experience in an HR Business Partner or similar People Partner role.
Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
Experience coaching managers and building trusted relationships with stakeholders at different levels.
Experience supporting organizational change and business transformation.
Excellent communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills.
A data-driven approach with the ability to interpret HR metrics and translate insights into action.
A professional HR qualification (such as CIPD or SHRM) is an advantage.
