Role Overview
The Business Development Analyst at MVH Europe supports the Business Development Lead and Senior Manager in identifying, analysing, and executing strategic growth initiatives across Europe. The role is responsible for delivering high-quality financial analysis, market insights, and investment proposals to enable data-driven decision-making across acquisitions, greenfield investments, and broader business development activities.
The role plays a key part in supporting end-to-end transaction execution, from early-stage opportunity assessment through to due diligence, deal completion, and post-acquisition integration support.
The Business Development Analyst operates in a fast-paced, high-growth, and collaborative environment within MVH Europe. The role works closely with the Business Development Senior Manager and interfaces with finance, operations, legal, and integration teams.
The position requires strong analytical capability, independent execution, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams in a transaction-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and profiling of potential acquisition or investment targets.
Develop and maintain detailed financial models, valuations, and investment cases for business development opportunities.
Analyse qualitative and quantitative data from targets and translate findings into actionable financial insights.
Support coordination of due diligence processes, including data collection, review, and synthesis of findings.
Update financial models and investment proposals based on due diligence outcomes and stakeholder feedback.
Assist in transaction execution activities, including signing, closing, and transition support.
Support post-acquisition integration activities in collaboration with relevant MVH functions.
Contribute to greenfield projects and strategic initiatives across MVH Europe.
Prepare presentations, reports, and decision materials for internal stakeholders and leadership forums.
Maintain effective communication with internal teams and external advisors throughout project lifecycle

Education & Professional Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Knowledge / Skills / Experience
1–2 years of experience in audit, transaction services, M&A, corporate finance, consulting, or similar analytical finance roles.
Strong financial modelling, valuation, and Excel-based analytical skills.
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
Experience in preparing investment cases or supporting transaction processes is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and high level of personal accountability.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset with strong commercial awareness.
Fluent in German and English; additional European languages are an advantage.
Interest in the veterinary or healthcare sector is desirable.
