Role Overview
The Sr Finance Business Partner, Finance, P&O, Legal – FP&A provides strategic financial leadership for MVH Europe’s group-level functional areas. Acting as a trusted thought partner to senior leaders, this role drives financial planning, performance management, and cost governance to support strategic execution across the organization.
With a strong understanding of complex cost structures and functional dynamics, the role translates financial data into actionable insights that enable informed decision-making. By connecting budgets, forecasts, actuals and KPIs, the Sr Finance Business Partner enhances transparency, accountability, and alignment with MVH Europe’s strategic priorities.
As a key interface between Finance and the business, this role supports strategic initiatives and business cases, ensuring that financial impact, risks, and trade-offs are clearly understood. Through robust scorecarding and performance dialogue, the role strengthens financial governance and enables leaders to steer their functions with confidence.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning, Budgeting & Cost Control
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cost control processes for group-level functional costs (Finance, P&O, Legal).
• Ensure financial plans are aligned with strategic priorities, transformation initiatives, and operational realities.
• Drive financial discipline and forward-looking planning across complex cost centers.
Strategic Business Partnering
• Act as a trusted financial advisor to functional leadership on performance, priorities, and strategic execution.
• Partner closely with senior stakeholders to translate strategy into financially sound plans and decisions.
• Influence and challenge constructively to improve outcomes in a matrixed, international environment.
Actuals Analysis & Performance Reporting
• Analyze monthly financial performance (P&L, Opex, headcount, KPIs).
• Identify deviations versus plan and forecast, explain key drivers, and highlight implications.
• Provide clear, insight-driven reporting that supports timely and effective decision-making.
Strategic Initiatives & Business Case Support
• Provide financial leadership for strategic initiatives, investments, and business cases.
• Assess financial viability, risks, and returns, strengthening the quality of strategic decisions.
Financial Governance & Scorecarding
• Drive financial governance through consistent scorecarding and KPI frameworks.
• Enhance transparency, accountability, and performance dialogue across functional areas.

Education & Professional Qualifications
• Minimum: University degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
• Preferred: Recognized professional qualification (CIMA, ACCA, CPA).
Knowledge / Experience
• 8–10 years of experience in Finance, Controlling, or FP&A roles
• Experience in FP&A or finance business partnering within complex, multi-country organizations.
• Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and performance management.
• Proven ability to operate in complex functional cost environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior level.
• Ability to translate financial insights into clear business implications and decisions.
