European Specialist in Veterinary Neurology – AniCura Malpertuus (BE)
At AniCura Malpertuus in Destelbergen, Belgium, we offer a wide range of services, from routine check-ups to advanced imaging, as well as specialized consultations and highly specialized surgical procedures. In addition to our primary care services, we also provide extensive secondary care.
To support our growth and continue offering more specialized care, we are looking to strengthen our enthusiastic team with a motivated European Specialist in Veterinary Neurology focusing on small animals.
Who are we looking for?
- You are a European Specialist, residency trained and accredited by a European recognized college;
- You have relevant experience in veterinary neurology for small animals;
- You can independently conduct neurological consultations (clinical workup of the patient, perform necessary diagnostics: blood and CSF-sampling, etc.);
- You follow your patients throughout the entire process. While medical imaging (e.g., CT and MRI scans) can be outsourced, it's preferable if you can perform and interpret these scans yourself;
- You can independently perform surgical interventions. Additionally, you can rely on three veterinarians capable of conducting standard neuro surgeries if needed;
- You organize courses for primary care veterinarians and referral veterinarians;
- You contribute to the further development of neurology at Malpertuus and thus assist in expanding our secondary care services.
What can our practice and team offer?
- A full-time or part-time position, to be discussed with practice management, aiming for a long-term collaboration;
- The team also includes specialists in orthopedics, surgery, and rehabilitation;
- We offer various types of medical imaging, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, ultrasound, and extensive endoscopy (gastroscopy, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, urethroscopy, otoscopy, rhinoscopy, laparoscopy, thoracoscopy, arthroscopy, etc.);
- Support from the entire team (both veterinary nurses and veterinarians);
- As an employee within the AniCura group, you have access to interesting training opportunities and knowledge sharing between different AniCura practices domestically and abroad;
- A complete focus on your area of specialization.
