As we continue expanding in Czech and Slovakia, We are enhancing our people strategy to establish AniCura as the employer of choice within the veterinary sector. We are looking for a People & Organization Business Partner (P&O BP) to lead and implement HR initiatives across the markets, supporting our commitment to high-quality care and employee engagement.
Job Purpose
As the P&O Business Partner (BP) for Czech and Slovakia, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clinics with people-related tasks, focusing on both operational and tactical initiatives. You will work closely with the country’s Operational Lead (Network Lead) and Practice Managers, ensuring the smooth operation of clinics by providing hands-on P&O support. In this role, you will also collaborate with regional P&O partners and functional leaders (e.g., Finance, IT) to help achieve our P&O objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Compliance & Advisory: Ensure adherence to labor laws and company policies by advising managers and promoting consistent application of guidelines.
- Primary P&O Contact: Serve as the main point of contact for the Operational Lead and Practice Managers, addressing issues related to associate engagement, productivity, absenteeism, and performance.
- Operational Support: Provide day-to-day P&O support for associate relations and other urgent matters while contributing to broader tactical initiatives.
- Team Building: Assist managers in building and maintaining high-performing teams by addressing performance issues and fostering a fair and equitable work environment.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with teams such as Finance, IT, Medical, Marketing, and Group P&O to implement company-wide programs and initiatives that align with country and market needs.
- Additional Responsibilities: Depending on the geography, manage responsibilities such as works council relations, Total Reward plan transitions, and new clinic onboarding.
- Project Participation: Engage in project-based initiatives to support market objectives and country planning through best practice sharing and operational insights.

Education & Professional Qualification
- Education level: Bachelor’s Degree, Human Resources specific degree a plus
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR, with a strong focus on operational HR and labor law knowledge.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, decision-making skills, and attention to detail. Ability to balance hands-on work with managerial advising.
